マテラの紹介記事を見かけました(^o^)

I've found an article/description of Matera.

「煉獄の教会」...マテラの代表的な教会です。

'purgatorio...purgatory'って、煉獄ですね (^^;)

町はこんな感じでした。

名前がわからないのですが…何かの美術館?か博物館みたいです。
Unfortunately, I can't identify this building...I suppose it's kinda museum?

こちらの建物は間違いなくw美術館です。
Museo Nazionale Palazzo Lanfranchi

この美術館の前に、巨大な雫を発見!
何と!! 日本人の美術家、吾妻兼治郎さんの作品でした。。
I found a big drop in front of this museum.
Surprisingly, this is the art work named MU765G,
La Goccia, of an Japanese artist Kengiro Azuma.

Matera マテラ, Basilicata 1

マテラはプーリではなく、バジリカータの街です。
バーリからも比較的近く、十分日帰りできる距離にあります。
Matera is a city in the region of Basilicata, not Puglia.
But you can make a day-trip there from Bari.

そして…堂々、世界遺産!!
マテラの洞窟住居の写真をご紹介します。
I'm going to show you some photos of Sassi di Matera,
the UNESCO world heritage.

さすがにマテラは有名なので「あ、ここ行ってみたい!!」
と思っている方も多いのでは…
I'm sure some of you might think Matera is a preferable destination to trip,
as the city is worldwide famous.

マテラというと、こんな感じの写真を
見かけることが多いと思いますが、理由があるんです!
Have you ever seen some photos like this, haven't you?
The reason why you see lots of similar photos like this is following...

柵が見えているので、大体検討がつくと思いますがw
実はこの場所、ちょっとしたバルコニーのようになっていて
マテラの町を一望できるようになっています。
As this balcony is a good place to take photos, most of all tourists take photos from here.
This is the reason why you see lots of similar photos of Matera. :D

それで、誰もがここで写真をゆっくり撮る、
というのが「お約束」に…(˘◡˘)♪
So...this would be the right place to shoot some photos and everybody takes one's time here.

十字架が立てられているの、わかりますか?
映画のロケも、たくさん行われているそうです…納得!!
We can see the cross...this place was used as a shooting place for a movie.

圧巻!! の景色…何だか、別世界に来たみたい(｡◕‿◕｡)
mmmmm....OVERWHELMING!!
I felt as if I were in an another region.

幸運なことに、偶然、映画の撮影現場も見かけました。
Under filming!

ちょっとわかり辛いのですが、行列をなして
坂を上っている人たちは、映画の出演者たちです◡‿◡✿
Accidentally I can see members of the film cast and crew.

Guido Guinizzelli...'Io voglio del ver la mia donna laudare'

Guido Guinizzelliさん…すみません、
カタカナ表記がよくわかりませんw(>_<)
Let me introduce a poet, Guido Guinizzelli,
an Italian poet from Bologna.
He and Dante Alighieri, who wrote 'The Divine Comedy,' were of a generation.

13世紀の詩人です。
ブログタイトルとマッチしていなくて恐縮ですがw
南イタリアの方ではなく、北イタリアの方だそうです。

「神曲」の作者、Dante Alighieri (ダンテ・アリギエーリ)は
日本でも大変有名な方ですが、ちょうどダンテと
同じ時代の文学家・詩人、と言えば少しイメージしやすいでしょうか。。

expresses profound love for his beloved, precious woman.

うーん、イタリア語…しかも、難しいw

しかし、ここであきらめては。。!!
無謀にも英語訳に挑戦してみましたwww

Though the sonetto was written in Italian and it seemed very difficult to understand,
I RECKLESSLY tried to translate it into English. XD

'I'd like to praise my beloved.
I truthfully want to do it.
I'm sure that I can liken her to both a rose and a lily.
She shines brightly, and it seems as if she shined brighter than Venus.
It seems to me whatever in heaven is beautiful and similar to her.

She would be likened to green land and air, every color of flowers, yellow and red, gold and blue.
Jewelry should be dedicated to her.
Even love would be perfect thanks to her.

She walks along a street adorably and so gently. 
Conceit of anybody would be disappeared by her greetings.
Her presence would convert anybody to a believer, even if they have not believed us.

Whoever is not courteous cannot approach her.
I'll tell you that she has greater power.
So nobody can think something evil as long as they gaze at her.'

(°◡°♡).:｡...'brighter than Venus' !!!

こんなに風に思われて、愛されていた
女性って、一体どんな方だったんでしょう。。

'both a rose and a lilly' とのことなので、
Venus的な美しさ・・官能的なものも含むという意味で・・と、
Maria様的な美しさ・・純潔 kinda virginity・・を
併せ持っていたのでしょうか。素敵です!! (#^.^#)

何れにしても、きっと世界一幸せな方だったに違いありません(˘◡˘)♥︎

I imagine how the woman was...having been loved like this.
I'm sure that she was lucky and the happiest woman ever ♥︎

I truly love these roofs...I remember the touch of these roofs when I put my hands on them.

I felt a magical power from them...it's not  a lie. Anyway...so adorable & lovely!

空の青さと、白い壁、赤いドアが
この場所にとてもよくマッチしていると思います。

こちらは屋上部分です。

このTrulliは、ホテルになるそうです。

They say that this trulli is going to be an inn/B&B.

何人くらい泊まれるのかなぁ?
I wonder... how many people can stay in this trulli?

きっと、たくさんの人がここでの滞在を楽しむんでしょうね(^^)
I'm sure that many people would visit this beautiful trulli and enjoy relaxing time.

ここ、マルティナ・フランカでも、アルベロベッロに負けないくらい?
たくさんのTrulliを見ることができます。
There are lots of trulli in Martina Franca as well as Alberobello.

幸運なことに、内装工事中のTrulliの中を見せてもらうことができました。
I was lucky to have an opportunity to see inside a trulli under construction.

このアーチ型の出入り口は、Trulliの特徴の1つです。
A typical, arched entrance like this can be seen inside trulli.

どんな内装に生まれかわるのかなぁ…(˘◡˘)?
How's this trulli gonna be when all the construction is finished?

以前は、Catholicの信者さんが住んでいらしたのだと思います。
A religious picture.

十字架もありました。

And a cross.

この緑色のコンテナ、どうやら、ワインを入れるものみたいです。
この後、記事を書く予定のマテラでも見かけました。
Containers for wine. I also saw them in Sassi di Matera.

生まれ変わるのを静かに待っているTrulli...きれいになるからね《≡^o^》
They stay calm and just wait for the day of their rebirth...you are gonna be more beautiful !

Everybody has a religious mind...impressive.

美術館とかにありそう。

We might see something like these in a museum...

工事中のTrulli内部なんて、見る機会はこれが最初で最後だと思います。
貴重な体験をさせていただきました。
I suppose this would be the first and the last opportunity to see inside a trulli under construction for once in my life. It was a valuable experience.
